To confirm the booking, we require 10% non- refundable deposit, the balance is due at least 10 working days before the event.

Our Venue require Insurance and health and safety documentation, do BFL have?

Yes, we have insurance up to £5 million and other relevant documentation.

What do I get for my money?

You will get peace of mind that your catering is in good hands, delicious freshly cooked meals, all your crockery, glasses, cutlery, uniformed staff, delivery, collection, wash up and event supervision is included in all our wedding packages. However, we do not clean venues, as parties usually end late and there will not be sufficient time to clean the venue and return back to the state it was before the party. We recommend you pay a little cleaning fees to the venue directly.

Do you remove rubbish from venue?

No, we do not but arrangement can be made through other cleaning suppliers

Do you set up and break down tables and chairs at the venue?

Yes, at an extra cost.

Do you supply tables, chairs and venue decoration?

No, but we have other associate suppliers that we can recommend.

No, but we can recommend.

Our insurance will not cover us if we serve other food from unknown sources or other caterers.

Can we take home left over food?

No, food safety laws do not permit eating of leftover food that has been lying around at parties.

Yes, we can supply the drinks at extra cost or you may bring your own, which our bar men will serve at no extra cost to you. We are happy to use venue bars or create a make shift bar if none is available at the venue.

Will the food you bring be enough for all the guests?

Yes, we carry surplus food to serve all the guests with plenty spare food for seconds.

Where will the cooking be done?

We cook all our food fresh in our food factory based in south east London, and transport them in our refrigerated vans to your chosen venue, where we reheat all the food before they are served.

How far can you travel?

We cover all of London and up to 40 miles from central London.

Do we need to hire equipment?

No, we bring our own heating dishes if your venue do not have ovens to reheat.

When will staff leave the event?

We usually leave about an hour after the event to clear up and clean the kitchen. Our staff leave before midnight unless taxi fares has been paid.

What time will you arrive at the venue?

We understand the importance of good time keeping. There is nothing as disappointing as a caterer arriving after the guests have arrived. BFL allow plenty of time for the cooking and delivery. We visit all venues well before the event date to estimate travel times. We arrive at the venue at least 1 – 2 hours before the guests to set up.

How about the wedding cake?

We take your instruction on how you want this served at the consultation meeting. Wedding cakes are cut and shared according to your choice with no cost to you. However if you require it in cake boxes, then these must be provided by you.
